When you focus too much on the long-term outcome, the time frame starts to creep in, and you begin to feel like you're owed success. Sure, I have long-term goals, but I focus on the short-term work.

If I can execute each day with precision, enthusiasm, solution-based thinking, and a major dose of consistency, I know I’ll get a shot at it. I put all my focus on the daily actions and the metrics required to improve, and that alone will make a huge difference over time.
