Muscle Minute #58: Confidence Is Built Through Consistency

"Mental and physical confidence comes from doing the hard work, day in and day out."

I can’t give you confidence, and no one else can either. The sooner I learned this, the better off I became. There’s no hack, no bypass, no jumping the line. It’s all about working with intention and consistency.

The reps in the gym and the reps in life are the same—they build on each other, positively or negatively, depending on what you choose. Each alarm clock I hear is a reminder—a rep that gets me one step closer to being better. It’s an opportunity to get a chance to win.

I’m a winner because I’ve stacked the reps. And that consistency, over time, builds the mental and physical confidence that contributes to everything else in my life.
