Muscle Minute #36: Why Hard Work Will Always Beat Talent

“Someone’s always more talented, but I’ll outwork them.”

My default is work. I know this is true for all of us: someone is always more talented, smarter, or faster. But I also know I can outwork them. I think about it all the time—someone is definitely better at my job than I am, so I make sure I put in the time to improve.

In the end, it's about more than just talent. It’s about time, love for the craft, and work ethic—the things that are often invisible, but make all the difference. I expect to work, I expect delayed gratification, and I expect to spend time for real results.

Try shifting your mindset in this direction—it will help you more than you think.
