Muscle Minute #29: The Power of Discipline

“Discipline is rewarded—simple as that.”

When you’re pushing yourself to do something hard, and you keep going, there’s always something on the other side. 

But here’s the thing: it might not be exactly what you expect, and there’s no guarantee on the timing.

I’ve noticed that when I’m more disciplined, things just seem to fall in place. Is it by accident? I don’t think so. I’m helping the universe work in my favor. 

When I’m dialed in with my diet and training, both my body and mind perform at their best. The fog clears from my brain, the inflammation drops, and I feel more in tune with what’s happening around me.

Call it crazy, but things seem to fall into place. Maybe I’m just creating them, or maybe I’m able to see them more clearly because I’m locked in. 

Whatever it is, the key is staying locked in on what you want—and not wavering.
