Whether I’m headed to the Carolinas or just getting away for a few days, I refuse to skip my training. That’s why I’ve built a mobile gym setup that travels with me wherever I go. It fits in the truck, costs next to nothing, and hits every major muscle group.
Here’s what I bring:
$180 squat rack from Amazon (yep, cheap and sturdy enough)
Zip ties + bungee cords to hold it all together and strap it to the truck bed
Folding flat bench — packs up easily & overall a solid bench
Gold’s Gym 6-foot barbell — perfect size for on-the-go lifts
2 adjustable dumbbells — take up minimal space but cover a ton of exercises
Ankle weights — easy to travel with and great for accessory movements
Bands + jump rope — for warmups, conditioning, and travel workouts
Pulley system attachment — attaches to the rack for lat pulldowns, rows, and more
