33 years old. Sub-160. Feeling better than ever.
For Brandon, #IWANTABZ has become more than just a yearly fitness challenge.
It’s become a yearly reset. A yearly commitment to improving himself physically, mentally, and emotionally. One step at a time.
“#IWANTABZ has become an annual necessity for self-improvement since I started doing it in 2021,” Brandon said. “Each year I learn more about myself and incrementally improve my life.”
This year’s challenge came after a season filled with vacations, looser eating habits, and feeling slightly off track. Brandon knew it was time to lock back in.
But this year’s goal wasn’t just about abs or weight loss. He wanted to feel better than he had in years.
“My goals this year were to get my legs feeling the best they’ve been since college while also getting to the lowest body fat I’ve ever been.”
At 33 years old and starting at 171 pounds, Brandon set an ambitious target for himself: getting down into the 155–158 pound range. The lightest he’d been since he was 18 years old.
And he fully committed.
“I am proud of myself for truly going all in this year and not skipping a single one of my workouts no matter what.”
That consistency clearly paid off. For the first time since arriving at college as a freshman 15 years ago, Brandon cracked below 160 pounds.
“Cannot even remember the last time I’ve felt this good and light on my feet.”
Throughout previous #IWANTABZ contests, Brandon focused heavily on getting stronger and building discipline. But this year was different. This year was about pushing himself further than ever before.
Not just physically, but mentally.
It was about proving to himself that he could still evolve, improve, and challenge himself even after years of already building healthy habits.
And that’s exactly what he did.
Another year.
Another transformation.
Another step forward.
