10TH PLACE // Brandon Hummer

For 10 weeks, the mission was simple: put your head down, do the work, and let the results take care of themselves.

Enter Brandon:

As a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, it is my job every day to prepare high-level athletes for competition at the highest level. #IWANTABZ gives me something to compete for and provides me with a training goal, and for that, I thank Max Effort Muscle and Cory G.

This is my second straight year doing #IWANTABZ, and it gets better each year. There is no better way to kick-start the year than 10 weeks straight of discipline and kicking ass on a daily basis.

It is just me vs. me, and knowing that it's on me to reach my goals. Having a bad day and not feeling like training? Forget that! I know I'll regret it the next day, so it's head down and time to get to work. I know each day will compound into the next day, week, and month.

I am lucky enough to have access to a DXA machine, so I am able to track updated body scans throughout the process.

Start (January 5):

Total Lean Mass: 163.03 lbs
Total Fat Mass: 35.71 lbs
Body Fat Percentage: 17.3%

End (March 16):

Total Lean Mass: 151.8 lbs
Total Fat Mass: 19.78 lbs
Body Fat Percentage: 11.1%
